Duties:

  • Handle a range of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, and development matters.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and closings.

  • Advise clients on legal aspects of real estate deals and transactions.

  • Represent clients in real estate disputes and litigation, as needed.

  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful completion of real estate matters.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing high-level legal counsel and guidance.

  • Lead and mentor junior associates in real estate-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate law, including transactional and litigation experience.

  • Strong ability to build rapport with clients and handle complex legal matters.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage a demanding workload.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:
