Associate Attorney needed for Naperville office

A law firm in Naperville, IL is seeking an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) and possess a bar license in good standing. The Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload, provide legal counsel, and represent clients in various legal matters.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on various legal matters.
• Conduct client interviews and maintain regular communication with clients.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and other parties.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal staff to develop case strategies.
• Maintain accurate and organized client files and case records.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar license in good standing in Illinois.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
