Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, including novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, manage expectations, and perform required duties.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities required for legal work, including computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3 years of experience, specifically in energy transition finance matters.
  • Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies, with expertise in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Research and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability for conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to influence others and effectively communicate persuasively.
  • Management skills for overseeing projects and junior staff.

Certifications and Skills:

  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
