A law firm in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Data Privacy/Technology Associate Attorney with experience in data privacy, technology rights, or similar legal matters. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding academic credentials, solid team skills, excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills, along with a strong work ethic.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on data privacy and security laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Draft and negotiate technology-related agreements, including software licensing, SaaS agreements, and data processing agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on emerging issues in data privacy and technology law.
  • Assist with compliance programs and policies related to data protection and cybersecurity.
  • Handle data breach incidents and related investigations.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop strategies and solutions for data privacy and technology issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in data privacy, technology rights, or related legal fields.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and a strong record of achievement.

 

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills for technology-related agreements.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
