The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of experience in handling litigation cases, including landlord-tenant disputes, eviction processes, and lender defense litigation. Duties:

  • Manage a full caseload of real estate litigation matters from initiation through trial

  • Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes, evictions, and lender defense cases

  • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery

  • Develop case strategies, engage in negotiations, and advocate on behalf of clients in court

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of California Civil Procedures, along with any relevant changes to state and federal laws

  • Stay updated on regulations related to landlord-tenant law, eviction procedures, and non-judicial foreclosures

  • Provide clients with practical legal advice and strong representation in a variety of real estate matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on landlord-tenant, eviction, and lender defense cases

  • Demonstrated ability to handle cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and court appearances

  • Expertise in California Civil Procedure

  • In-depth understanding of landlord-tenant law and eviction procedures in California

  • Ability to interpret and apply changes in state and federal laws, such as CA HOBR and foreclosure processes

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active California State Bar license
