Job Title: Immigration Attorney

Job Overview:

A well-established law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking experienced Immigration Associate Attorneys to manage a diverse range of immigration matters, including employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian-based cases. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality legal services while collaborating within a supportive and innovative team environment.

Duties:

  • Prepare petitions and applications for employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian immigration cases.
  • Respond to government-issued requests such as RFEs, NOIDs, and NOIRs, as well as manage audits, motions, and appeals.
  • Conduct quality control and review work completed by non-attorney staff.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates on case statuses and managing client relationships effectively.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay aligned with the firm's policies and values.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload (100+ case files) with efficiency and accuracy.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business immigration law.
  • Familiarity with immigration case management systems.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills for drafting declarations, motions, and briefs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in good standing, preferably with the Georgia State Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in immigration case management software, such as INSZOOM.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Professional demeanor and dedication to maintaining client confidentiality.
