The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving fraud/special investigations, including medical provider fraud, work comp fraud, first-party property claims, and no-fault litigation across all fifty states.Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex insurance fraud cases and no-fault litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.Manage discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.Provide strategic counsel to clients on legal matters and case strategies.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar; additional admissions in other states a plus.1-5 years of litigation experience focusing on insurance defense, PIP/SIU, or related fields.Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Preferred Skills:Experience with fraud investigations or special investigative units (SIU).Familiarity with insurance coverage issues and regulations.Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation support software.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with matching, dental, health, life, and vision insurance.
