A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to join a dedicated team in a remote position, with occasional appearances in immigration court as required. This role is focused on representing immigrants in court and reviewing family-based petitions, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of the individuals served. Duties:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in immigration law, with substantial experience in immigration court proceedings.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients in court.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and handling family-based immigration petitions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work setting while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • A genuine commitment to helping immigrants and a willingness to grow professionally.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active state bar membership (specific state licenses may be required based on the role).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of immigration law, including family-based petitions and immigration court procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and organized case records.
