A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team in Nampa, Idaho. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney fluent in both English and Spanish to handle a variety of immigration matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. This position offers the chance to work directly with clients, providing high-quality legal counsel and support throughout the immigration process.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation in a wide range of immigration matters, including visas, green cards, deportation defense, and citizenship applications.
  • Prepare and file petitions, applications, and other immigration-related documentation.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and guide them through complex legal processes.
  • Conduct legal research to stay updated on immigration laws and procedures.
  • Manage a caseload of immigration cases, ensuring that all deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Attend hearings, interviews, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth case management and client service.
  • Maintain accurate case files and records, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload with attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • In-person work required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar is required.
