Estate Planning and Probate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a motivated and skilled Estate Planning and Probate Attorney to join its team in Roseville, CA. Duties:

• Review clients’ financial documents, wills, trusts, and other relevant materials to assess their estate plans.
• Create tailored estate planning strategies to protect assets and minimize tax liabilities.
• Draft and review essential legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Provide legal counsel on the implications of estate planning decisions, ensuring compliance with current laws.
• Assist clients with the establishment and administration of various trusts (e.g., irrevocable, charitable, special needs).
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings, estate administration, and trust litigation as necessary.
• Stay up to date with changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
• Foster strong client relationships and provide ongoing support throughout the estate planning process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate).
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
