Associate Attorney with first party insurance defense experience

The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, and attention to detail, and be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar. Duties:

• Represent clients in 1st Party Insurance Defense matters.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for court appearances and hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients.
• Manage a caseload independently while ensuring attention to detail in all documentation.
• Attend court proceedings and participate in depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure they are informed of case progress.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in 1st Party Insurance Defense litigation.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar membership (required).

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload with strong organizational and time-management skills.
