Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a qualified Mid-Level to Senior Health Care Associate Attorney with 5-10 years of transactional and regulatory healthcare experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Experience in data privacy or life sciences is advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in mergers and acquisitions, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute analysis, and/or hospital representation.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in the healthcare industry.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare transactions and regulatory compliance.
  • Advise clients on matters related to data privacy and security in healthcare.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
  • 5-10 years of experience in transactional and regulatory healthcare law.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong academic credentials with a focus on healthcare law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar.
