Job Overview: A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in real estate transactions, particularly in the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.

Duties:

  • Handle real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on land development projects.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for real estate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, if necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant real estate laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on real estate transactions.
  • Experience in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Preferred experience representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects.
  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of real estate laws and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough due diligence reviews.
