Job Overview: A law firm specializing in finance and energy transition seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis, MN office. The role offers an opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, focusing on novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Minnesota (MN).
  • 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
  • Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies, with a focus on tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
