Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Employment Class Action Attorney to lead and manage complex litigation related to wage and hour disputes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong litigation skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of employment law.

Duties:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Develop and articulate arguments and represent clients in wage and hour matters.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on employment law issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Manage a caseload and oversee junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Employment Class Action litigation.
  • Superior analytical and legal research skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in complex legal situations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Adaptability to evolving legal landscapes and case strategies.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
