Duties

• Represent clients in appellate and post-conviction cases, conducting thorough case analysis and legal research.
• Draft, edit, and review appeals and legal motions with a focus on accuracy and persuasive argumentation.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement defense strategies for post-conviction proceedings.
• Maintain updated knowledge of criminal defense law, particularly in appellate and post-conviction issues.
• Attend court hearings and other relevant proceedings as required.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• 1 year of experience handling appellate and post-conviction cases.
• Strong background in criminal defense, with demonstrated expertise in case preparation and client representation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Florida Bar Membership (Required).
