This role requires a Spanish-speaking candidate with 1-5 years of experience in the legal field. Duties

• Manage a caseload from intake to trial, including client communications, case strategy, and court appearances.
• Represent clients in criminal defense, personal injury, and general litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation or arbitration when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the efficient handling of cases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• An active member of the Utah State Bar.
• 1-5 years of experience in litigation, particularly criminal defense or personal injury law.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Utah (Utah State Bar).
