Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a full-time personal injury litigation attorney with at least one year of experience. The ideal candidate will handle plaintiff personal injury cases in a supportive and collaborative environment. Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury litigation, managing cases from inception through trial.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and participate in mediations.
• Engage in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients, ensuring a high standard of client service throughout the litigation process.
• Stay up to date with personal injury laws and best practices to provide effective representation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience in personal injury litigation, representing either plaintiffs or defendants.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Must be in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar and hold an active Tennessee law license.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
