Compliance Attorney (Intermediate Litigation)

A law firm seeks a self-motivated Compliance Attorney to join its team in Austin, Texas. This position is ideal for an attorney looking to enhance their career while focusing on compliance within litigation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to legal standards and firm policies.

Duties:

• Conduct audits and review cases assigned to each team.
• Hold weekly meetings with assigned teams to ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and deadlines.
• Assess areas of non-compliance and address concerns with each assigned team as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance practices.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree; must be a licensed attorney in the U.S. and in good standing.
• Knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
• 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
