A law firm in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a White Collar and Government Investigations Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in international trade regulatory, compliance, and enforcement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Committee on Foreign Investments (CFIUS), U.S. export controls, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). General knowledge of the Defense Priorities & Allocation System (DPAS) is preferred. The candidate must be admitted and actively barred in Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on compliance with CFIUS, U.S. export controls, and ITAR regulations.
  • Manage and support regulatory compliance and enforcement matters related to international trade.
  • Conduct internal investigations and audits concerning trade regulations and compliance.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including compliance reports, regulatory submissions, and other related correspondence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address and resolve regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Stay current with changes in trade regulations and enforcement practices, advising clients on relevant impacts.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in international trade regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise with CFIUS, U.S. export controls, and ITAR regulations.
  • General knowledge of the Defense Priorities & Allocation System (DPAS) is preferred.
  • Proven track record of supporting and collaborating with an active legal team.
