Litigation Attorney Personal Injury

A law firm seeks a skilled and compassionate Litigation Attorney to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will be an experienced personal injury attorney who can manage a diverse caseload while guiding clients through the complexities of the litigation process. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team, providing expert legal services and exceptional client care.

Duties:

• Lead the case development process by gathering and evaluating necessary documents and evidence.
• Review and assess the merits of personal injury cases to determine litigation strategies.
• Provide clients with clear, consistent, and empathetic communication throughout the legal process.
• Conduct medical reviews to assess the impact of injuries and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring that deadlines are met and all legal matters are addressed.
• Open new cases, create litigation plans, and manage discovery processes.
• Collaborate with team members to implement effective legal strategies.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation settings as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a personal injury litigation attorney.
• Trial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex settlement discussions.
• Solid understanding of Florida's personal injury laws and legal procedures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Leadership experience or the ability to manage and mentor junior legal staff.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
