A prominent law firm located in Carmel, CA, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Transactional Attorney. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will handle various legal tasks related to business law, intellectual property, civil litigation, estates, and trusts. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, solid communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Provide expert legal analysis and advice to clients.
• Engage in client meetings, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Review, revise, and draft contracts, business agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Participate in negotiations and manage business transactions.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, documents, and records.
• Meet the firm’s minimum billable hour requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and firm policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a transactional attorney.
• Strong academic background, with a demonstrated record of success.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle multiple matters simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member of the California State Bar (Required).

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting.
• In-depth knowledge of business law, intellectual property, and transactional matters.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet billable hour expectations.
