Duties

• Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents.
• Advise private equity fund and portfolio company clients on day-to-day legal matters.
• Collaborate with business teams to provide strategic and business-driven legal advice.
• Lead legal aspects of private equity transactions, ensuring smooth execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in private equity and mergers and acquisitions.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and project management capabilities.
• Good business and strategic judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in good standing with the state of California or ability to obtain.
