Job Overview: A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a skilled Trusts and Estates Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience focusing on complex estate planning. Job Duties:

• Develop and implement estate plans tailored to clients' needs, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on estate planning strategies, including tax implications and asset protection.
• Review and draft estate planning documents and related contracts.
• Assist clients with probate and trust administration matters.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on estate planning laws and regulations changes.
• Represent clients in estate planning meetings and negotiations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 1-6 years of experience practicing in trusts and estates law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong academic credentials; LLM in Taxation preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
