  • Duties:

    • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on various employment law matters.
    • Draft and review employee handbooks, policies, and employment-related agreements.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law issues.
    • Represent clients in employment litigation and administrative proceedings.
    • Advise clients on wage and hour compliance and employment best practices.
    • Develop and conduct on-site training programs for clients on harassment prevention and other employment law topics.
  • Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the state bar in New Hampshire (or willingness to become admitted).
    • 4+ years of relevant experience practicing employment law, with some background in general litigation.
    • Proven experience in drafting employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements.
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a dynamic legal practice.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • Certification in Employment Law (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar).
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.
    • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
    • Experience with crisis response and risk management is a plus.
