A Pittsburgh-based law firm is seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Attorney to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively, representing small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Duties:

  • Manage existing client relationships and represent new clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents.
  • Advise clients on real estate purchases, sales, lease agreements, tax appeals, and closings.

  • Engage in firm decision-making processes.
  • Develop tools and resources to enhance firm services and offerings.
  • Handle a range of real estate-related matters including due diligence and lease issues.
  • Participate in expanding the firm’s practice areas, particularly in real estate law.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in real estate law, including lease review, tax appeals, commercial and residential real estate closings, and transactions.
  • Proficient in legal research and electronic record keeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with clients directly and build long-lasting relationships.
  • Self-starter with a passion for shaping legal practice and bringing in new clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of legal research and drafting proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
