Partner-level Commercial Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a Partner-level Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess a portable business book and demonstrate extensive commercial litigation experience. Admission to the Arizona Bar is required, with additional admission to the California, Colorado, or Nevada Bar being advantageous.

Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production
• Present oral arguments in court and negotiate settlements
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on litigation matters
• Manage and supervise junior attorneys and support staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with other partners and team members on firm-wide initiatives

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Litigation Attorney at a partner level
• Portable book of business
• Strong understanding of commercial litigation processes and procedures
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute litigation strategies
• Strong client service orientation and business development skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Arizona Bar or eligibility for admission
• Admission to the California, Colorado, and Nevada Bar is a plus
