Associate Attorney Civil Litigation & Insurance Coverage

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its dynamic civil litigation and insurance coverage practice. This position is ideal for attorneys with 0-5 years of experience who are eager to grow in a collaborative environment. Duties:

• Assist in managing and preparing cases for trial, handling discovery, depositions, and legal motions.
• Draft and argue legal motions, contributing to case strategy and client advocacy.
• Take and defend depositions as part of litigation efforts.
• Work on civil litigation matters with a focus on insurance coverage law.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progress.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar license.
• 0-5 years of experience in civil litigation or insurance coverage law.
• Strong research, writing, and legal drafting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License (Required).
