Job Overview:
A law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking an Immigration Attorney to manage consular processing (CP) and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience to further their career in a growing firm. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload while collaborating with a team of legal professionals.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Manage consular processing and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa
  • Prepare clients for consulate interviews
  • Represent clients before USCIS
  • Review and manage immigration applications/packets
  • Oversee a team of paralegals to meet productivity goals and client expectations
  • Provide legal analysis to clients to determine possible case benefits
  • Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with associates
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward
  • Experience with consular processing applications and waivers
  • Experience with case management software is preferred

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in Texas

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of immigration law, especially consular processing and waivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases
  • Proficiency in case management software
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
