A law firm in Lake Forest, CA, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience in real estate, escrow, civil litigation, title disputes, UCC conditions and claims, and/or interpleader matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and communication skills, law and motion experience, trial experience, and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Job Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of real estate litigation matters including but not limited to title disputes, escrow issues, and UCC claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution forums.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on real estate litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and experts to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor junior associates and legal staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on real estate litigation, escrow, civil litigation, title disputes, UCC conditions and claims, and/or interpleader matters.
  • Proven law and motion and trial experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Suite and Outlook.
  • Professional demeanor and strong personal ethics.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
