Job Overview:

A distinguished law firm in New York City seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. This role involves handling complex litigation matters, including federal and state court proceedings, commercial arbitrations, and government investigations. Duties:

• Draft motions and legal documents for federal and state court cases

• Develop case strategies and contribute to trial preparation

• Conduct legal research and draft discovery requests and responses

• Take and defend depositions

• Engage in commercial arbitration and government investigations

• Negotiate settlements and draft related correspondence

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in New York

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal court litigation

• Experience in commercial litigation and/or government investigations preferred

• Background in healthcare or life sciences law is a plus

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Ability to work in-office the majority of the time

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar
