Duties:

• Represent businesses in litigation or transactional matters across various commercial sectors including construction, real estate, corporate, and employment law
• Provide expert legal counsel and strategic advice to clients, with a focus on achieving business-oriented outcomes
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents including briefs and memorandums
• Assist in the development of case strategies and provide litigation support
• Handle client communications, maintaining professionalism and high service standards
• Work alongside a team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals, including Board Certified specialists
• Manage caseload independently, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial attorney, preferably representing businesses
• Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex legal issues affecting business operations
• Experience in construction, corporate, employment, real estate, and tax law is highly desirable
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and efficiently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive and solution-oriented approach
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Graduation in the top 20% of the class is preferred
• Participation in extracurricular activities such as Law Review, Moot Court, or Trial Team is a plus

Certifications:

• A valid Florida Bar License required
