Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury and property damage litigation matters.
• Conduct client meetings to discuss case details, providing compassionate guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and developments.
• Handle negotiations with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.
• Prepare cases for trial, including drafting motions, gathering evidence, and strategizing legal approaches.
• Represent clients in court as needed, conducting trials and presenting arguments.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure case success and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 6 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on personal injury.
• Proven 1st chair trial experience.
• Active member of the South Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Strong ability to evaluate claims and assess legal options.
• Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
