The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in insurance coverage, and commercial litigation, and a deep understanding of professional liability, general liability, and directors' & officers' insurance policies. Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal support in insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes, including matters related to professional liability, general liability, and D&O policies.
• Manage all stages of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to settlement negotiation and trial.
• Draft legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests, with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to build strong arguments and strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay informed about relevant changes in law and industry practices to maintain an edge in litigation strategy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of various insurance policy types, particularly professional liability, general liability, and directors & officers insurance.
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation independently and efficiently.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with managing litigation timelines and priorities.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar.
