Job Title: Associate Litigation Attorney - Subrogation Practice

Job Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Remote option available)

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its Subrogation Practice Group. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing a dynamic and supportive team environment. The position involves handling a range of tasks including discovery, mediation, trial preparation, and management of multiple claims involving property damage, with cases ranging from modest losses to significant claims.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting legal motions and responses.
• Prepare for and participate in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Analyze and assess recovery opportunities in plaintiff claims, primarily related to property damage.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Manage a high volume of claims, ensuring efficient and timely progress on each case.
• Provide legal guidance and strategic insights on subrogation-related issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on subrogation or insurance law preferred.
• Strong experience in drafting legal motions and preparing for trial.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high levels of attention to detail.
• A valid Florida Bar license is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• In-depth understanding of litigation processes and subrogation law.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating legal issues and claims.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting complex motions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
