Southfield office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks real estate, corporate, and business attorney with 5+ years of experience advising businesses on all phases of real estate, corporate, transactional, and commercial matters including entity formation, organizational documents, due diligence, governance, operating agreements, lease agreements, shareholder agreements, purchase and sale of commercial and industrial real estate, purchase and sale of assets and/or business interests, mergers, business succession transactional documents, regulatory compliance and commercial agreements including loan agreements, vendor contracts, and master service agreements. The ideal candidate would be seeking to transfer or grow their own book of business by developing strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted advisor.
The candidate should have excellent drafting, negotiation, deal-oriented, and communication skills.
Over 50 years old, this small Michigan firm services clients in Detroit and southeast Michigan. Primary practice areas include real estate, tax, corporate and business transactions, litigation, technology, labor and employment, trusts and estates and insurance defense. The firm houses a wide variety of professionals and is not stuffy when it comes to academic credentials. If you have good academics, previous work experience, are collegial and have good communication skills, this firm will take a look at you. The firm is interested primarily in hiring people who fit well within existing practice group structures and work well with staff. This is apparently a very nice place to work -- most of the staff members have been with the firm over 10 years!
