Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience

A growing law firm in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in family law and other civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, strong drafting and research skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients. Duties:

• Handle family law and civil litigation cases, managing them from start to finish.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Perform consultations and work closely with clients to retain and provide legal counsel.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and hearings.
• Communicate diligently with clients through written and oral communication.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and manage case deadlines.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of court documents and correspondence.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of extensive litigation experience, preferably in family law and civil litigation.
• Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
• Strong ability to work with clients and perform successful consultations.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication with clients and legal professionals.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in legal software and office applications.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Illinois Law License (required).
