Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A respected law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, is currently seeking a qualified Litigation Attorney. This position involves representing clients throughout all phases of litigation, advocating for their interests, and ensuring that outcomes are maximized while adhering to legal and ethical standards. The role will focus on personal injury cases, with a specialization in motor vehicle accidents.

Duties:

  • Evaluate potential client cases and determine suitability.
  • Investigate claims, collect evidence, and document injuries and expenses.
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses and review medical documentation.
  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings and motions.
  • Strategize and organize cases to maximize client recovery.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including legal research, writing, and court trials.
  • Represent clients during all phases of the litigation process.
  • Meet with clients both in the office and at locations convenient for them.
  • Manage a docket of personal injury cases, particularly auto injury cases.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership with the Arizona State Bar.
  • Proven track record of managing litigation cases.
  • Experience in successfully achieving favorable verdicts.
  • Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strong professional relationships and work well in a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong ethical values and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Arizona state law, especially regarding personal injury and motor vehicle accidents.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) required.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona.
