Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in handling complex insurance litigation, particularly in commercial general liability and professional liability policies. Duties:

• Develop and execute litigation strategies for insurance coverage disputes and class actions.

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft detailed memoranda, analysis, and recommendations on insurance policy coverage issues.

• Provide comprehensive advice to clients on coverage matters, with a focus on complex commercial insurance policies.

• Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, interrogatories, and correspondence.

• Take and defend depositions, ensuring strong preparation and strategy.

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.

• Manage and oversee document review processes related to litigation.

• Lead all phases of pretrial to trial procedures.

• Supervise and mentor associates and paralegals in their legal tasks.

• Engage with clients, including high-level executives, to provide clear and effective legal counsel.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice in California.

• At least 10 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, with a focus on commercial general liability policies.

• Extensive experience in both state and federal courts.

• Strong work history with proven leadership in legal matters.

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, high-pressure cases.

• Ability to manage multiple complex cases and projects simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License.
