A law firm in downtown Long Beach seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its legal team. This role is ideal for a professional with a corporate and business law background who excels in legal research, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The attorney will serve as a key advisor, ensuring the firm’s clients navigate complex legal landscapes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee various legal matters, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and business laws.
Serve as the primary legal advisor, providing guidance on contracts, risk mitigation, employment policies, and corporate governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements to safeguard business interests.
Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, particularly in industries involving product distribution, manufacturing compliance, and workforce relations.
Address legal concerns related to employee relations and workplace policies.
Conduct in-depth legal research to support decision-making and risk assessment.
Represent clients in discussions, negotiations, and potential legal proceedings.
Travel to Industry, CA, as needed, to address client needs and business requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of California.
3-5 years of experience in corporate law, business transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Strong understanding of contract law, employment regulations, and business operations.
Experience in wholesale product distribution, manufacturing regulations, or workforce compliance is preferred.
Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
