Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters within the oil and gas sector, including class and mass actions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Assist in deposition preparation, witness interviews, and trial preparation.
  • Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and strategic advice.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to or eligibility for the Texas Bar.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a focus on the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, including discovery and motion practice.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
