Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled mid-to-senior level Corporate Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney to join its prominent healthcare team. This role will offer the opportunity to advise some of the most dynamic healthcare clients in the country on various transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures. Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisitions, venture capital investments, private equity investments, and joint ventures
  • Assist with corporate matters including business formations, capital raises, operational strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Work closely with senior partners to develop and execute legal strategies for clients
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to handle complex transactional matters
  • Develop strong client relationships and communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate healthcare transactions, including mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity
  • Ability to handle complex transactions and manage client relationships effectively
  • Must be admitted to the bar in the state where applying
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the state of employment

Skills:

  • Expertise in healthcare law and corporate transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  • Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
