A law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with a high level of academic achievement and substantial experience in a law firm setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hatch Waxman litigation, excellent writing and communication skills, and preferably a technical degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field. This role involves drafting legal briefs, managing fact and expert discovery, and contributing to the development of litigation strategies.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Manage and participate in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
  • Develop and implement strategic litigation plans, focusing on Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and hearings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present cases effectively.
  • Maintain organized case files, ensuring adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic advice to clients regarding case status and developments.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
  • High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).

Skills:
