Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled and proactive Litigation Attorney to join its team in San Diego, CA. This full-time position is ideal for an attorney with 3 to 10 years of experience in litigation. Duties:

• Represent clients in court, including making appearances, conducting depositions, and arguing motions.

• Pursue contingency work in developing areas such as class actions and multi-plaintiff lawsuits.
• Independently manage cases, making key strategic decisions, and collaborating with clients and colleagues as needed.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm by generating new business opportunities and building a client base.
• Maintain a balanced workload with reasonable hours and expectations for work-life harmony.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years and up to 10 years of litigation experience.
• Strong case management skills and the ability to handle litigation independently.
• Experience in making court appearances, depositions, and arguing motions.
• A proven track record in managing and resolving business disputes, including contract and commercial matters.
• The ability to thrive in a small, entrepreneurial law firm environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and manage client relationships.
• CA Bar admission is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
