Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and strategic solutions for a variety of immigration matters
• Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of cases
• Conduct client intakes and meet with detained individuals at detention centers
• Prepare a wide range of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations regarding changes in immigration law
• Meet with prospective clients to discuss immigration matters and formulate a strategy
• Develop legal strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for testimony before USCIS and in court
• Provide legal analysis to determine potential benefits for clients’ cases
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in immigration law
• Proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience in Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian Law, EOIR, Detained Immigration Cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS matters
• Ability to work with Case Management Software (preferred)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in the state of Arizona

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
