Job Title: Senior Leasing Attorney

Job Location: Miami, FL

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is in search of an experienced attorney to join its Real Estate Group, specializing in commercial leasing. The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 years of expertise in drafting and negotiating various lease agreements, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

  • Serve as the lead attorney in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and associated agreements, including term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior leasing attorneys.
  • Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain compliance with firm policies and practices.
  • Participate in both physical and sedentary activities, including prolonged computer use and virtual meetings.
  • Fulfill additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial leasing and related agreements.
  • Proven track record of representing landlords across multiple property types (office, retail, industrial, life sciences).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice in Florida.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the commercial leasing market and current best practices.
  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
