Duties

  • Advise clients on buy and sell-side M&A transactions and other complex corporate matters
  • Lead deal structuring, due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and closing of business transactions
  • Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to navigate complex business issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing strategic legal support

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in corporate transactional law
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (preferred)
  • Strong communication, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of handling complex business transactions

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active North Carolina Bar membership (preferred)
