Duties:

  • Participate in initial meetings with new clients, listening to their concerns and providing legal guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to assess liability, damages, and potential legal theories in personal injury cases.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Regularly update clients on case progress and offer support throughout their recovery process.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies and draft demand letters to secure favorable settlements for clients.
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys, learning and enhancing legal skills while contributing to firm success.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Provide training, feedback, and guidance to improve the performance of team members.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado or willing to become licensed in Colorado.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Demonstrates empathy and a client-centered approach to legal practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
  • Must be tech-savvy, with the ability to navigate case management software and AI tools.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado (or the ability to obtain Colorado licensure).
