Job Title: Debt Resolution Attorney (Remote)

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is actively seeking a dedicated Debt Resolution Attorney to join their team on a full-time, remote basis. This position involves working collaboratively with primary state attorneys to provide debt resolution services, particularly focusing on consumer debt defense and resolution. The role is well-suited for an attorney with experience or interest in bankruptcy and debt relief matters, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-volume legal environment.

Duties:

• Provide legal assistance and support related to debt resolution matters
• Conduct phone consultations with clients, focusing on debt relief processes (primarily during peak business hours of 8:00 am – 2:00 pm EST)
• Oversee settlements and conduct thorough file reviews
• Engage in client communication, ensuring they understand the debt resolution process
• Handle a high volume of client interactions, requiring patience and effective communication
• Adapt to short-notice consultation requests, providing timely legal assistance as needed
• Collaborate with attorneys in various states to offer comprehensive services

Requirements:

• Active and valid license to practice law in Georgia, Ohio, South Carolina, or Virginia
• Experience in consumer debt defense, collections, or bankruptcy (preferred)
• 2 years of experience 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients effectively
• Comfort with high-volume client interactions
• Ability to work remotely and manage administrative tasks efficiently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active state bar certification in Georgia, Ohio, South Carolina, or Virginia

Skills:

• Strong verbal communication and client engagement skills
• Experience in debt resolution, consumer debt defense, or bankruptcy preferred
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in using remote communication tools and legal software
