Job Overview

A prominent law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation is seeking motivated Litigation Attorneys to join its Cherry Hill, New Jersey office. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, gain hands-on litigation experience, and counsel clients on diverse and challenging legal issues.

Location

Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from initiation to expert discovery.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including discovery requests and responses, motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare case evaluation summaries, court orders, affidavits, and litigation update reports.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide legal analysis, status updates, and strategic advice.

Requirements

• Active membership in the New Jersey State Bar.
• Experience in New Jersey litigation preferred.
• Background in General Liability and/or Professional Liability matters is advantageous.
• Strong skills in drafting discovery, conducting depositions, and arguing motions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and writing abilities.
• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
